United States Navy. TBM-3S. c/n 3621.
Royal Canadian Navy. AS Mk. 3. BOC 23 June 1952. SOC 5 July 1960. Flew as #387.
1960 – The last official flight of an RCN Avenger was flown by Commander (Air) in this Avenger, then a target-tug, BuNo 53559, on 12 June 1960. The Avenger type was finally retired on 5 July 1960. [The Grumman Avenger in the Royal Canadian Navy, Leo Pettipas, p. 148]

Aerial Spray Program – NB

1961 – Tallied by Larry Milberry May 22, 1961, in Cartierville, Quebec, while en route to NB. FKCJ is still in its RCN target tug plumage. 1962-1965 – No records, but may have flown in NB. 1966 – Pilot Bezik. 1967 – Pilot Hodson. 1968 – Did not fly in NB.

Note – The number 607 was reassigned to CF-AGN, which was purchased by Conair in 1972.
